Research notes from analysts Blayne Curtis and Tom O'Malley at Barclays, accessed by Macrumors, reveal that the iPhone SE 4 won't be making its debut in 2023 as previously anticipated. Instead, the official launch might take place in 2025 at the earliest. The possible reason behind this delay is attributed to issues with the 5G modem. The iPhone SE 4 was rumoured to include Apple's proprietary 5G modem for the first time, but analysts believe that Qualcomm will remain the modem supplier for both the iPhone SE and the iPhone 16 lineup through next year. This aligns with claims made by renowned Apple analysts Ming-Chi Kuo and Jeff Pu.
