Tech giant Apple will release the iPhone 15 series this year, including the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max, likely to be renamed iPhone 15 Ultra. Ahead of that, citing a forum member, a MacRumors report said the company would replace the iconic mute button, which we have seen on iPhones since 2007, from the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max and will instead bring a new Action button, seen on Apple Watch Ultra.

The source said the Action button would replace the mute switch but did not mention how it would work. But it will probably be customisable and allow users to navigate the button to different system functions for easy access.
